It was the Pre X-Mas Red Party!

Ok, I'll admit it. Sometimes I amaze even myself. And other times I don't have a freakin' clue what to do for events. I was wracking my brains during a nap, as you do, and it came to me.. I was seeing red everywhere.. Christmas color of Red, frustration of Red.. Red as in my bloodshot eyes. That sort of thing. And the man that usually comes up with, spawns or sparks ideas for the Sunday Night themes, Nathaniel Refenoir, was wracking his brains too. But until that fateful nap, we had nothin. And I wasn't exactly feeling on top of my game, (Honestly I almost canceled due to ..no, let's not go there *laugh*)

I think what came out was a cool set, with some excellent music, lots of fun, and definitely laughs for all involved. Unfortunately, not all of my pics saved or came out great, so this is just skimming the surface of what happened and who was there.

I dug into my DJ music folders and started arranging, scooping, wrangling and otherwise splatting the tunes into a playlist for RED, and there you go. Unfortunately, I didn't play Roxanne, by the Police. I feel like I've let Sting down. Again. *sigh*

Anyway, I gave everyone a good healthy 45 minute lead time to get something red to wear on, and POOF! We have a red party!

Oh! And check out the most talked about, and diagnosed Cat - Kyne! Indeed, Kyne is not suffering from any disease, or case of lipstick-overdose that wandered all over his body (he's really bummed about that). Kyne got into awesome theme for the set.. and he looks marvelous, don't you agree *grins*

Please ignore the Green on Charley and Kaj. They are wearing some red (their boots) so they pass muster.

And my thanks to Shizzy for getting the holiday decor spread out around the club! Awesome job Shizzy!

Beware the mistletoe - it caught Charley and Kaj - and they kissed so much there was a frozen puddle on the floor after they were done.. So be careful - mistletoe is dangerous!

Boot Hock's Rez Day - December 8 2011

Hey there! I've been a bit slow for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean that it shouldn't be done. What is it that I'm talking about?

Wellll hold your horses, like you have been for 11 days, and let me tell you!

On Thursday December 8th, 2011, it was Boot Hock's 5th Rez Day! I captured some of the event in the pictures below, and I thought I'd say a few words first!

Boot has been a long time friend and supporter of both myself and Starfall. We've all had a lot of laughs and good times, and its fantastic to be able to celebrate such a complete nutjob's rezday, without having to take too many recreational drugs to understand the humor. Boot - you're one of us, one of the Starfallen, and I'm very pleased to wish you the best and brightest wishes for the coming year, and all that follow. Happy Rez Day my friend!

And now.. the damning evidence of Boot's depravity - the company he keeps -

The Rez Day Man himself - Boot Hock, looking up at the heavens, and wondering how the hell he got into this mess.

A cross section of many of the lovely worshipers .. and partially rezzed peoples (if you look hard, you can see half a torso and legs of peeps that were being shy.

A cross section of the butt wiggling actions, and that pink chair in the middle of the cookie? That's the spankin' chair.

More supplicants shakin' their thangs.

If you look closer, on the left behind that handsome elf in the brown leather jacket, you can see the spankin' chair is now occupodo by Boot.. I think he's cooling his butt in anticipation of it being heated up.

He's looking at the sign, or looking for an escape route, our Boot. "How do I get awaaaaay ... please ! "

More Boot. You can never get enough.

Here is Rustie, the most excellent DJ spinning his tunes and speaking in tongues when he graces us with his jokes.. and then giggles rather like he's just taken 12 continuous hits of nitrous.

This was a vanity shot. So sue me. I rezzed these giant boots because they represent the imprint Boot has left on our lives. Man.. the boy can really kick it. What ever that means.

The Great Zoltar is nothing when compared to the awesome power of the Boot. Again, More Boots to represent our favorite Bootineer.
When Zoltar was asked, "Is Boot more awesome than hot fudge and a night with Brad Pitt's used underwear," The Great Zoltar replied, "Reply Hazy". And then he fainted.

Ok - Yeah.. I'll admit it.. I started to futz around with the blogs look. After 2.5 years, I figured it was time for a layout facelift. Blogger offered new layout tools to play with, so I tinkered a little bit, on a "I'm up to freakin' early" Sunday morning.
If you like the new layout, let me know!
If you don't like it.. well.. let me know, too.
I'd appreciate specifics of what you don't like, if that's cool. If not, you can take your "It sucks!" and stick it where the 'raisins' are produced in rabbits, but up yours.. not the rabbits. Yeah.

Kaj Turns 5, and Starfall celebrates! A RezDay bash of Awesome!

DJ Kaj's REZDAY CELEBRATION!

Your friend, and mine, Kaj Juutilainen-Eismann turned 5 years rezzed this past Friday night. We celebrated his coming of age, in the sense that he's getting up there in years. *grins* It was a hell of a good night, with friends coming out to celebrate with us. It just so happened that I had the honor of DJing the event for him, and I played many tunes that I knew he either liked, and/or he played many times for his followers and fans at the various clubs he's DJed.

Charley was my host, and put up the balloons and fanfare so Kaj, in his ancient self, didn't need his glasses to read that it was his rez day (I'm gonna catch so much hell for saying that).

SO, Kaj, my friend, Please know that we love you, and are so glad you are in our lives.

Once again - Happy 5 Years, and counting. And many more to cum!

Summer's End Bonfire Party

To celebrate the ending of summer, and the beginning of autumn, we decided to have a bonfire! We roasted some marshmallows, hot dogs, drank some hot coco, and danced around the big bonfire to DJ Dehrynn's awesome tunes! Thanks to all that could come out and party with us! Trailer Park Trash at Starfall

On Friday night, Sept. 23rd, Starfall shifted a lil to the left. Well, actually, we shifted to the SW corner of the SIM. Where DJ Kaj and his host, Charley, stumbled about a shabbily built trailer park. Being the eternal optimists, they seized upon the opportunity and staked out a spot to throw a Trailer Park Trash party! Folks showed up after Dehr's set, and we partied till the beer ran out! EVERYONE was there! Coner was totin' Pookie's baby, Ima and Blaise were hidin behind stacked beer cases doin who-the-hell-knows-what, and Rustie put on a lil weight and looked like a trailer park daddy! It was a fun time, and thanks to ALL the Starfall peeps who made it that way!

Wednesday night was a fun time - with lots of color and plenty of bootay shakin' going on. It was the Starfall Soul-Train party! Its been a while since we did one of these, and Cooper Drammond was a wonderful host for the event, and claimed that he had never missed an episode of that show back when he was young. He and I put together a set that was cool, and funky and rocked the the hips of all of us on the dance floor! Here's some pictures. Oh, we made a contest out of it, just for fun, and the 1500 L$ prize was divided between Charley, Fieger, and Kaj ! Plus Charley got a grand prize of a skybox worth L$5K - so it was a nice sweet tasty night of hot lovin for all!

It was a little contest idea that came up and we decided to try out.. how you interpreted Tie night could have been just about anything .. neck ties, tied hands, being a slave boy, and stuff like that. We had lots of cool peeps, and we had 1500 lindens on the board, which the top winners were Kaj, Nathaniel, and Pookie! They split the prize 3 ways, so congratulations to them! Ok, more on the smexy, less on the scurvy, and if you're swabbing your decks, you won't have to worry about embarrassing situations involving personal hygiene, now will you?
Indeed, it was a timber-shivering time at Starfall Sunday night, what will the Black Star pirate ship sliding into the lagoon around the club.. quite a feat considering. But strange happenings aside, we had one hell of a rockin' time, with Pirates, and booty, and bootay, and plundering, and wallering, and having one hell of good time!

And it was Charley's birthday!

So have a glance over the plunder of Starfall's crew, the pirate crew that set sail on the high sees of adventure, and came together on the shores near the Refuge of Awesome to caper, prance, and swagger in pirate-ee fashion!

DJ Dehrynn also had a "The Halloween Nightmare" contest on Halloween... People came as nightmarish creatures or as Tim Burton characters. Everyone looked so great! The winners were Sora Bluebird, Charley Eismann, and Malden Decuir! Well done, guys!

On Oct. 31, Halloween, DJ Blaise had a "Dungeons & Dragons (tm)" contest! The winners of it were Nat Noir (in the 3rd pic) and Dehrynn Shepherd (in the 6th pic, on the right side)!

On Saturday, Oct. 30, DJ Colwyn had an "Angels & Demons" contest... 3oooL$ was split between 6 winners (3 for best angel, 3 for best demon)! Congrats again winners!
